IRC Postgraduate Scholarships at DCU Institute of Ethics
The Institute of Ethics at Dublin City University welcomes applications under the Irish Research Council (IRC) scholarship scheme. The IRC offers fully-funded scholarships for PhD studies at higher education institutions in Ireland. The application is open and the submission deadline for the 2018 call is 1 November 2017.The Institute of Ethics is recognised internationally as an important European centre of ethics, distinguished by its manifold research activities and its focus on the translation of ethical theory into societal benefit. It offers expertise and supervision on a broad range of topics in applied ethics (bioethics, technology ethics, environmental ethics, and business ethics amongst others). Writing a PhD at the Institute of Ethics offers unique opportunities for academic development due to its wide range of funded research projects and its excellent global network.

Funded 4 year PhD position at the Department of Philosophy of the University Twente, Netherlands on "Ethics of human enhancement in an international context
Funding is available for a PhD student for 4 years (gross salary €2,200 per month in year 1 up to € 2,840 in year 4; holiday allowance 8% of gross annual salary + 8,3% end-of-year bonus; budget available for traveling to project related workshops and international conferences).

The Institute of Ethics, History and Theory of Medicine, invites applications for the position of Researcher (graduate or postdoc) to be filled as of May 2016 (subject to the final decision by the funding organisation).
